PHOSC is excited to have the O'pen Skiff (formerly known as BIC) incorporated into our yearly race program.
The O'pen Skiff is a sailing dinghy designed by Vitali Design of Italy for sail training and as a one-design racer. It was first built in 2006 and the design is a World Sailing international class. Originally produced by Bic Sport of France from 2006, the design is now built by Melges Performance Sailboats in the United States. More than 8,000 boats have been produced.
PHOSC has a few O'pen Skiffs available for try-out, suited to kids, teenagers and adults (ideally less than 90 kg body weight).
Curious? Contact the club for a no-obligation free trial sail of one of our club-owned boats — they're a fantastically exciting and fun boat to sail.
