About us at Port Hacking Open Sailing Club
- Port Hacking Open Sailing Club (PHOSC) is a friendly community based family club on the shores of Yowie Bay in Sydney's South.
- Since 1945, when the club was founded, races have been regularly conducted on the picturesque enclosed waters of Port Hacking.
- Our dinghies race weekly on Sunday afternoons during the sailing season — September to April.
- Club members race various dinghy classes and participants of all ages and abilities are welcome.
- Currently our main racing classes are Herons and NS14s. For the juniors we have Optis, MJs and Flying 11's. We also have a small open class for dinghies that don't fit other classes.
- Adult and Junior teaching sessions when we have sufficient numbers. Coaching can be arranged.
- There are several membership categories including a Family Membership which makes sailing affordable and fun for everyone.
- Membership is open to all levels of experience. Beginners both adults and kids (>5 yrs) are welcome.
