Venue overview

The PHOSC Clubhouse is a medium-sized hall with spectacular views over Yowie Bay. It's a versatile space best suited for self-catered cocktail-style functions or sit-down meals — birthdays, anniversaries, club functions and small celebrations.

All bookings are subject to PHOSC committee approval and are not available on Sundays from September to April (race days).

Availability

  • 9:00 am – 10:00 pm
  • Not available on Sundays, September to April (race days).
  • All bookings are subject to committee approval.

Costs

  • $100 / hour hire fee.
  • $500 damage bond — refundable after inspection.
  • Bond required to confirm the booking; total hire fee due one day before the event.

Facilities

  • Industrial-grade kitchen — electric oven, grill, hotplates, microwave, hot-water urn, pie warmer and two fridges.
  • Trestle tables and plastic chairs — seats approximately 60.
  • Ceiling fans (no air-conditioning or heating).
  • Cutlery provided. BYO crockery, glassware and table linen.

Things to know

  • 40-step access — all catering and equipment must be carried down.
  • The site has unrestricted access to the water — hirers are responsible for supervising children and non-swimmers.
  • You organise your own catering. There is no caterer on site.
  • You're responsible for set-up and removing all rubbish; the club must be left as found.
  • A club member will be present to open up, lock up and inspect the premises.
  • Fishing is not permitted at the club.
