View support boat roster for 2026–2027
Support boat coordinator: Mitchell Brunton (mgbrunton@bigpond.com)
Hi everyone,
Our Support Boat roster is an essential part of the club's commitment to safety during sailing events.
As the rostered Support Boat person, you will also be responsible for getting the race marks out of the southern shed & co-ordinating the installation & retrieval of the race course marks at the end of the day. Ask the Rear Commodore, Russell Sullivan, for the course of the day. Ask other members to assist in these tasks or the coordinator to arrange helpers.
When rostered on, or asked to be part of the support boat team, please make every effort to attend on the day. If you are unavailable, please arrange to swap with someone else for the day, or ask the coordinator to find a replacement, well in advance if possible.
Support Boat Operators must have a valid NSW General Boat Licence, be familiar with our Support Boat Operating Guideline documents and have had a familiarisation tour of the boat.
Operational Guidelines and Support Boat Duties documents are on the Documents page. The roster is on the Support Boat Roster page.
Mitchell Brunton, Scott Roberts, Phil Treloar, James Birdsall, Russell Sullivan, Mick Armstrong or Col Tasker can provide a familiarisation tour of the boat if you're assisting for the day.
If you arrange a support boat roster swap, please inform the coordinator or starter ASAP.
Thank you in advance for everyone's cooperation.
If you know of a responsible adult who would like to be trained up to join our support boat team on a regular basis, please let me know.
Regards,
Scott Roberts
PHOSC Commodore
