Congratulations to Flynn Read for becoming the NSW Heron Junior/Senior Champion at Narrabeen Lakes Sailing Club.
The NSW Heron Junior State Titles was a sprint race format over two days, 27–28 March 2021.
Sailing in "Heronasaurus," Flynn came first in five races and 2nd in another to be 6 points clear of his nearest competitor.
Xavier Waters sailing in "O for Awesome" also competed in the two day event and also did us proud — Xav was actually equal third on points, but lost on count back to take out 4th in the regatta. Well done Xav, awesome effort!
Thank you Flynn and Xavier, you have both done a fantastic job in representing our club at this State Event, and of course congratulations to their respective crews Travis Read and Paul Armstrong.
