INTRODUCTION TO SAILING COURSE:

FOR ADULTS AND TEENAGERS (12 years +)

DATE:  4 consecutive Sunday mornings: 13th Oct, 27th Oct, 27th Oct, 3rd Nov 2024 

TIME: 10:30am - 2:00pm 

This excellent course is run over four Sunday mornings from 10:30am-2pm and involves both sailing theory and on-water sailing experience 

The series will cover:

• on water sailing experience as crew & skipper 
• learning to steer a dinghy
• safety on the water
• how to correctly rig a sailing boat
• theory of how a boat sails into the wind
• hands on experience skippering a boat with guidance from our instructors
• theory on the basic racing rules of sailing
• club membership also allows you to continue sailing at the club for the rest of the season to practice your new skills
