About Us

Port Hacking Open Sailing Club is a community based family club on the shores of Yowie Bay in Sydney’s south. Since 1944, when the club was founded, races have been regularly conducted on the enclosed waters of Port Hacking.

We sail on Sundays during the sailing season which usually lasts from September to April/May (see Race Program).

Club members race boats in various dinghy classes and participants of all ages and abilities are welcome. Currently we have MJs, Flying 11s, Herons, NS14s and an Open Division. Click on Classes sailed to find out more.

Sail Training is available to new members and junior development sessions occur as necessary.

Membership is open to both Seniors and Juniors. There is also a Family Membership which makes sailing affordable and fun for everyone.
